Kosmos Marina Club Facilities

Kosmos Marina Club has under cover parking facilities for 100 boats and wetbikes and in addition to this has 24 boat lockers on the premises. The club currently have 12 yachts and barges moored in its demarcated area.

The Club currently has 123 members and have three classes of membership. Family and Ordinary Members enjoy full membership of the club and may also park their boats at the club. Social members enjoy the use of the foreshore and clubhouse but not the launching and boating facilities.

The services to members include the launching of boats and our tender boat is available to carry members and their guests to their yachts and barges.

The clubhouse caters for all members of all ages. The club is fully licensed and the bar, on the upper level of the clubhouse, is open every weekend from 10h00 till late.

The clubhouse has two television sets and has the sports channel on offer for the sporting fanatics.

The foreshore area is possibly one of the most beautiful areas around the dam with well-maintained gardens and a play area including a jungle gym and sand pit for the little ones.

Events are held throughout the year and are very popular with members. These include Mothers Day, Fathers Day, the recently introduced Poitjie Boitjie annual competition and our opening cruise held on the first Sunday of September.

Bringing in the New Year at the Club is an institution and a party is usually planned for this important event in the calender.

Members can hire the foreshore area to host their own parties, bookings can be made through the Club Secretary
